The Seniors Advocate is an independent initiative dedicated to monitoring and analyzing seniors' services to address systemic issues in critical areas such as health care, housing, income support, community support, and transportation. This project produces investigative reports and recommendations for the government and service providers regarding seniors' issues and aging in Ontario and across Canada. Supported solely by public donations, the Seniors Advocate is committed to advocating for the well-being and rights of seniors nationwide. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ seniors, the initiative also aims to establish a network of supportive complexes across Canada that celebrate diversity and inclusivity. Inspired by the principles of equality championed by Martin Luther King Jr., the Seniors Advocate seeks to ensure that all seniors, regardless of their background, are treated with dignity and respect
